Marc Shiliro's Classic Cars
You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom - Ringbrothers- "Copperback"
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 20 years of classic vehicle experience.  I’d like to put that experience to work for you.  I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current.  Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 400 classic vehicles which I’m very proud of.  I sell a large percentage of my inventory from networking and from the various websites I advertise on.  I sell a small percentage of my inventory at various auctions such as Barrett Jackson.  I’ve set over 15 world record prices on various makes and models.  I’ve also featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. I’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites.  I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I collect classic vehicles that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish.

The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts and was established in 2012.  The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 40 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re one of the only dealerships who document the service work we do to every vehicle with an invoice.  Each vehicle is presented with detailed descriptions and multiple photos.  We offer no consignment inventory.  When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail.  I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or shipping.  I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable.  I take a lot of pride in my business and my reputation reflects that.  I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.  “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a much diversified market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world.  Roughly 20% of my sales are from people who live outside of the United States.  Some examples would be Canada, Australia, Mexico and Europe.  Also from what I’ve learned roughly 20% of bidders at auctions are also  people who live outside the United States.

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 10 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay.

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also now would have a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”.

Feast your eyes on the ultimate 1967 Mustang named “Copperback”!

This ultimate 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback Custom was built by the highly regarded company named Ringbrothers. They named it “Copperback”. This classic American muscle car is truly a one-of-a-kind rolling piece of artwork. The unparalleled craftsmanship is evident throughout. The body has numerous body modifications and over 70 custom machined billet aluminum pieces throughout. The brilliant Copper Burnt Orange Metallic paint and various accents are truly magnificent. The 19” iForged wheels provide the perfect stance. The exquisitely designed and hand crafted interior is comparable to a high end exotic sports car. It’s loaded with features such as push button start and power windows. The engine compartment is simple but yet sophisticated. The car is powered by a Roush Performance 427 V8 with 560hp and Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The Ford Currie 9” POSI rear end puts the power to the pavement. The undercarriage is beautifully detailed with modern equipment such as a Chris Alston Total Control suspension system and Baer four wheel disc braking system. “Copperback” is a star and will be a highlight of any collection.

Since the completion of this build the car was sent back to Ringbrothers roughly four years ago and a ton of upgrades were made. The upgrades included some exterior appointments, a complete new interior and some suspension work. From the information gathered roughly $35,000 was invested in the upgrades!

This ultimate Mustang creation began as an all-original 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback that was originally from Arizona. It was the perfect candidate for the Ringbrothers build. The car was torn completely apart and sent out for media blasting. Once it returned numerous body modifications were designed and constructed. A new center body peak was made that travels from the front leading edge of the hood to the back of the trunk. The drip rails were removed and replaced with a knife-like leading edge. Gemini Technology Systems made molds for the hood and trunk lid which were made of steel. Once completed, they hand laid a carbon fiber composite material to make the final finished pieces. More than 400 hours went into both the hood and trunk lid finished metal pieces prior to molding. They also made molds for the entire lower valance which was previously designed and carved in foam for fitting. The original door handles were shaved for a smooth appearance. The lower side scoops were re-shaped which added depth. All-new steel ground effects were fabricated and added. The contour of the ground effects creates a more aggressive appearance. The original concave taillight panel was replaced with flat-panel that was overlaid with carbon fiber. This also creates a more aggressive appearance. The stock bumpers were trimmed in width and height to pull them closer into the body which matches the profile of the newly designed front and rear. New exhaust openings were fabricated in the rear lower part of the quarter panels. The side and rear floors were replaced with aluminum. The rear was mini tubbed to fit the larger size wheels and tires. The body is laser straight with excellent gaps lines throughout. Upon completion of the body the car was finished in brilliant Glasurit Copper Burnt Orange metallic paint. This is a beautiful color and dresses the car perfectly. The paint work is high show quality and absolutely stunning. The gray color on the hood continues on the front valance for a stealth look. The words “Copperback R 427 cubic inches” was airbrushed on each side of the hood. The combinations of the variety of colors on this car make it extremely sexy. All of the tinted glass was replaced new. The front windshield, side vents and rear glass trim is black. It sports custom mirrors that match the design of the car. Key parts of the appearance package are one-of-a-kind machined billet aluminum pieces. Some of these pieces include the hood vents with custom-perforated billet inserts, tear drop hood pins and bezels, cowl vents with custom-perforated billet inserts, front lower valance brake ducts, side grill air intakes, quarter pillar vent inserts, gas cap and taillights. The doors open with a hidden release button. The car has a killer stance on 19” iForged 3-piece wheels with Black powder coated centers. The front wheels are 19x8 and the rear wheels are 19x11. The wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are 255-30-ZR19 on the front and 305-30-ZR19 on the rear. This car is the center of attention wherever it goes!

The interior in “Copperback” is truly remarkable in every sense of the word. It was exquisitely designed and hand crafted to perfection. It’s really comparable to a high end exotic sports car. It was reworked considerably by Steve Pearson of Upholstery Unlimited after the original build was completed. The black and brownish color combination complements the exterior colors. The black leather flows on the top of the brown leather throughout including the dash, steering wheel, dash and bucket seats. The rear sections of the car and roll cage are covered in the matching black leather. The headliner, sun visors and pillars are covered with a soft black material. The center of dash, passenger side of dash, center console and top of door panels are trimmed with carbon fiber. It’s even outfitted with carbon fiber door sills that read “Copperback” and illuminate in red. The door panels and center arm rest have aluminum trim accents that match the exterior aluminum trim accents. It’s equipped with custom molded Recaro seats with Schruth racing seat belts. The flooring and bottom portion of the center console is covered with custom patterned carpet that is very durable. Some of the custom interior features include Classic Instruments gauges, tilt steering column and levers, steering wheel, Ford GT switches, push button start, under dash door release levers, power windows, aluminum shifter with custom shift knob, Momo pedals and carpeted floor mats. The surround sound stereo system consists of a Kenwood head unit and Rockford acoustic audio system. The trunk compartment was boxed and covered in the matching custom patterned carpet as the interior. The Ringbrothers logo is on the facing panel. The trunk lid is supported with custom aluminum hinges. This interior is simply over the top!

The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom touches. The engine compartment is simple but yet sophisticated. The backside of the hood is satin black and the visible hood vents look trick. The customized firewall, inner fenders and radiator support panels were also painted satin black. The hood is supported with custom aluminum hood hinges. The custom shock tower brace is truly futuristic with its modern appearance. The car is powered by a Roush Performance 427 V8 with 560hp and 540 lb. ft. The Dart Iron Eagle block was outfitted with Roush #1460 aluminum heads, Roush V eight valve covers and Roush 8-stack fuel injection system with custom air cleaners. The engine is cooled by a custom radiator, core support and fan. The engine breathes through custom Magnaflow ceramic headers and a 3” exhaust system with Spintech mufflers. The exhaust has been wrapped with heat shield to keep components cool. The engine is coupled to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. The transmission shifts nicely through the gears. It’s equipped with a Mcleod dual-disc clutch which is easy to operate. The power is transferred to the pavement through the custom Ford Currie 9” POSI rear end with 3.55 gears. Get in and hold on!

The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout with many custom touches. The undercarriage is definitely worthy of displaying with mirrors at a car show. The bottom of the car was painted black for durability. A custom cover was added to the rear section to cover a portion of the fuel tank. A power cut off knob was integrated within the cover. It also has to battery charging posts. It’s equipped with a Chris Alston’s Total Control front suspension with high-tech rear mounted steering plus a Chris Alston sub-frame connector system to eliminate flex under hard driving conditions.  This system links the front and rear sub-frame connectors with a bolt-in center cross bar. The front suspension was fitted with Ridetech adjustable coil-over shocks. The rear suspension is a triangulated four bar with Ridetech adjustable coil-overs shocks. The brakes are massive Baer two-piece 15” front and 14” rear rotors mounted to Baer 6S forged piston Monoblock calipers fitted with Sport Touring ceramic brake pads. Ride captain ride!
This car runs and handles as great as it looks. A custom black car cover is included. This is a great opportunity to buy one of the best. Rock and Roll!

**This car has a state assigned Arizona VIN number and is titled as a 1967 Ford. It has a state assigned Arizona VIN number because the original VIN tag wasn’t completely ledge-able and the original inner fenders were replaced during the restoration so the original VIN number stamp isn’t there. It currently has a clean California title and can be tilted in all 50 states like any other 1967 Ford Mustang.**

Bring-A-Trailer Auction

Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!

MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent.  I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck.  I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale.  Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed.  This business is my career and reputation which means everything to me.  I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly.  To be clear I’m not in the restoration business.  I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored.

This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA.  I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle.  This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice.  I write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails.  I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it.  I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary.   Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish.  Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air.  A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package.  I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home.

If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world.  I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.  I look forward to working with you.  Please read my website testimonials and eBay positive feedback.  Thank you for the opportunity!
