Marc Shiliro's Classic Cars
You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1 Custom w/ 625HP - "Lucky Sevens"
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 20 years of classic vehicle experience.  I’d like to put that experience to work for you.  I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current.  Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 400 classic vehicles which I’m very proud of.  I sell a large percentage of my inventory from networking and from the various websites I advertise on.  I sell a small percentage of my inventory at various auctions such as Barrett Jackson.  I’ve set over 15 world record prices on various makes and models.  I’ve also featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. I’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites.  I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I collect classic vehicles that are already completed and slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish.
The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts and was established in 2012.  The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 40 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re one of the only dealerships who document the service work we do to every vehicle with an invoice.  Each vehicle is presented with detailed descriptions and multiple photos.  We offer no consignment inventory.  When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail.  I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or shipping.  I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable.  I take a lot of pride in my business and my reputation reflects that.  I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.  “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 15 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a much diversified market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world.  Roughly 20% of my sales are from people who live outside of the United States.  Some examples would be Canada, Australia, Mexico and Europe.  Also from what I’ve learned roughly 20% of bidders at auctions are also  people who live outside the United States.

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 10 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay.

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time selling new and used Mercedes Benz.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also now would have a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Custom ZL-1 w/625HP – “Lucky Sevens”

“LUCKY SEVENS” - The last three numbers of this cars VIN number is 777.

This gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Custom ZL-1 w/625HP is total eye candy and the ultimate pro touring G-machine. This is a true “Pro Touring” car with proven Autocross experience which is documented. This car was built with many high-end components to perform at a high level. As the receipts document a total of $143,000.00 was invested in this car and that’s with an extremely low labor rate. The car sports the most beautiful shade of Blue on the exterior along with a slightly custom black interior. It has a great stance on Budnik Shotgun wheels with Dunlop tires. The engine compartment and undercarriage is highly detailed throughout. The car is powered by a fuel injected GM Performance ZL1 Aluminum 489 V8 engine w/625HP and a T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission. It has been featured in three magazines and has won multiple awards. The binders with receipts and build specifications along with the three magazines are included with the sale but the awards are not. This is the perfect show and go classic muscle car for a true driving enthusiast.

As the VIN number indicates this car was built in Los Angeles, CA as a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro 8 cylinder Coupe. The last three numbers of this cars VIN number is 777 so it only made sense to nick name it “Lucky Sevens”.  As the trim tag indicates it left the factory with a Dover White exterior and a Black Houndstooth interior.  From the information gathered it spent its entire life on the West Coast. The car was purchased in 2006 by a gentleman in California. His intention was to build the ultimate pro touring G-machine. This car made the perfect candidate because of its rust free body. The restoration was started in 2007 and was completed in 2009. This car was built with many high-end components to perform at a high level. As the receipts document he invested a total of $143,302.63 in this car between parts and labor. The $45,000.00 labor cost was with an extremely low labor rate of $25.00 per hour x 1800 hours. If the labor rate was the average $85.00 per hour x 1800 hours it would’ve been $153,000.00 in labor cost bringing the total cost of the build to $251,302.63! The car was originally built with a GM Performance ZZ454 V8 but he wasn’t satisfied with the power. In or around 2013, he pulled out the 454 V8 and added a fuel injected GM Performance ZL1 Aluminum 489 V8 that he purchased from Summit Racing. The car had roughly 3,000 miles on the 454 V8 and currently less than 3,000 miles on the 489 V8. During his time of ownership he participated in multiple Autocross events which are documented with articles and photos in magazines. Please note the Autocross events took place when the car had the 454 V8 engine. The magazine exposure includes Chevy Hi-Performance magazine, Popular Hot Rodding magazine, Camaro Performers magazine and Goodguys magazine. All the magazines are included with exception of Goodguys. The car was awarded “1st Place at the San Diego Main Street America People’s Choice Awards, “Best Paint” at Encinitas Main Street Car Cruise Nights and “Best Engine” at the Coronado Speed Festival. None of these awards are included as the gentleman wanted to keep them. Since completion the car has less than 6,000 miles. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased the car from the gentleman recently in 2020.

The exterior of this car is total eye candy with its beautiful design and color scheme. This car definitely has the pop factor that attracts a ton of attention. The body is really straight and it has really nice gap lines throughout. The car has a new steel cowl hood, front spoiler, rear spoiler and “RS” style headlight setup. The hood, doors and trunk lid close very nicely. The body was finished in GM Arrival Blue which is a spectacular color especially on a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. The body and paint work was completed by well-known Syndicate Automotive Concepts in California. The paint job is beautiful and show quality but not flawless. This car was completed roughly ten years ago and has been driven almost 6,000 miles so there are some minor imperfections. The paint was recently detailed to a brilliant shine. The blue color is complemented with satin black accents which can be found on the front grille, lower quarter trim and rear tail panel. All of the glass is new and lightly tinted throughout. All of glass trim is beautiful and fits very nicely. Everything on the exterior has been restored or replaced such as the wipers, dual mirrors, door handles, grille, headlight covers, front bumper, rear bumper, marker lights and lights. Some of the custom exterior features include Detroit Speed windshield wiper motor, Detroit Speed electric headlights, front tow hook, rear taillight bezels and ZL1 emblems on the grille, fenders and rear tail panel. The car is a great stance on custom built Budnik Shotgun wheels that are polished with a brushed center. The front wheels are 18” and the rear wheels are 19”. The wheels are wrapped with Dunlop Direzza Z2 tires that are 265/35/18 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear. “Lucky Sevens” is dressed to impress!
The interior of this car is car is the perfect combination of original and custom. The entire interior was stripped to a bare shell during the restoration and covered with B-Quiet sound deadening. This material keeps the heat and road noise out of the cabin. The color was changed from Black Houndstooth to all Black.  Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as the headliner, sun visors, dash pad, dash instrumentation and accessories, steering wheel, door sills, door panels, door hardware, seats and carpeting. The headliner does have some wrinkles throughout. Some of the interior custom features include a Ridetech “Tiger Cage” roll car that removes to access back seats, Autowire wiring harness, rear view mirror, dash bezel, Autometer Ultralite carbon fiber gauges, Detroit Speed billet knobs, oil temp gauge in ash tray, tilt steering column with billet stalks, Budnik “G10” steering wheel, center console with carbon fiber shift bezel, leather boot, Hurst shifter, switches, cup holders and storage compartment, Arizen Racing leather bucket seats, Sparco 4-point harness, matching rear seat with seat belts, drilled door and window cranks, aluminum pedals and thick carpeting with custom Camaro embossed floor mats. It also has a custom sound system consisting of a Pioneer stereo unit, Alpine amplifier and four Infinity speakers. The front speakers are located in the kicker panels and the rear speakers are located on the package tray. The trunk compartment was also wrapped in B-Quiet sound deadening. It was boxed and upholstered in black leather. A blue bow tie emblem was added to match the exterior color. An Optima Red Top battery was mounted in the trunk with an aluminum case. It’s equipped with a battery disconnect knob and quick hookup harness for charging for storage. This car is equipped with a Viper alarm system that works excellent.

The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many custom components. The back side of the hood was painted the body color which looks great. The hood has a chrome hood latch spring and Detroit Speed aluminum hood hinges. The firewall was painted satin black. A set of Anvil carbon fiber inner fenders were added which not only look great but reduce the weight by 15 pounds. They also allow for a wider front wheel clearance. A set of Fesler aluminum fender braces were added which also look great. It has a custom Autorad radiator support that was power coated satin black to match the firewall. All of the hoses are separated with custom separators and have heat shrink clamps. The car is powered by a fuel injected GM Performance ZL1 aluminum 489 V8 engine w/ 625HP. It was built and blueprinted by Pettis Performance. It’s 10.4:1 compression so it runs on 91+ octane pump gas. It starts and runs like a small block. It’s equipped with Brodix aluminum heads, a road-racing high-capacity oil pan and a custom pulley system. It’s also equipped with an Accusump Oil accumulator system for pre-startup oiling which avoids wear on the engine over time. Just the engine and the engine accessories was $23,512.00. This is an amazing engine for power and reliability. The Holley Avenger electronic fuel injection setup is one of the best on the market. A lap top for programming and tuning is included. It has Aeromotive Stealth fuel tank, Aeromotive fuel system components, full PTFE fuel lines, II Much Fabrication fuel vent so there is never any gas smells. The engine breathes through Hedmann Hedders ceramic headers and Magnaflow exhaust system that was wrapped with heat tape in sections. The engine is cooled by an Autorad aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. This amazing cooling system stays at 190 degrees. The engine is coupled to a T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It has a Centerforce DYAD 1000HP dual-disc clutch, short-throw Hurst shifter, QuickTime SFI bellhousing, SpeedTech cross member and GM Hydraulic clutch system. The power is turned through a QA-1 carbon fiber driveshaft which is 12 pounds lighter than a steel driveshaft and noticeably better. The power is transferred to a Moser 12-bolt POSI rear end with 3.42 gears, 33-spline TruTrac axles, Ford Torino big bearings and bolt-in axles and aluminum girdle. This car is equipped with a great drivetrain!

The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many custom components. The underside of this car is nice enough to display with mirrors at a car show. The floors were painted in a semi-gloss black which looks great. The Lee Power Steering and Moog power steering system is awesome and has a remote finned power steering reservoir for improved cooling on the track. The front and rear suspension components and subframe connectors are by SpeedTech, Hotchkis and Global West. It has AFCO double-adjustable shocks on all 4 corners that can be set for street or track. It’s equipped with a Wilwood braking system with a polished master cylinder, 6-piston calipers with 14” rotors on the front and 13” on the rear. It even has Wilwood street/track brake pads. This car is built to pound the pavement while looking good doing it. Rock and Roll.

Your challenge
I have over 20 years of experience and follow the classic vehicle market on a daily basis.  I’m experienced with most years, makes and models.  Obviously I’m more experienced with certain vehicles but follow them all.  I price my classic vehicles competitive based on the current market values.  I would challenge anyone to find a comparable vehicle for less.  Please make sure your comparing the vehicles history, recent documented service work, all options and the entire vehicles overall condition from top to bottom.  If you’re truly interested in purchasing this vehicle and you have a comparable vehicle that’s priced less please call me to discuss further.  I’m confident that my vehicle will be the better choice.  If I’m wrong I’ll tell you the other vehicle is a better choice and point you in that direction.

“As my website indicates I’ve collected and sold hundreds of beautiful classic vehicles over the years.  I’m proud to say MS CLASSIC CARS holds over 40 world record sale prices.  We’ve also sold many classic vehicles in the six figure plus price range.  The point being is that I’m a good judge of character when it comes time to describe a classic vehicle.  MS CLASSIC CARS collect beautiful classic vehicles that we service and detail.  We document this work with an invoice that is pictured in the photos.  The vehicle you’re about to witness is something I’m proud of.  If you’ve been searching for something like this vehicle I would suggest moving forward with investigating it further.  Please give me a phone call and I’ll go over the entire vehicle with you over the phone.  I will tell you everything I know about it.  I’m the owner and can make all the decisions regarding the price, etc.  There will be no pressure.   My goal is to make sure the vehicle is the right fit for you.  If you decide to purchase it I’ll make the transaction transparent and simple.  I’ll assist you in the financing if necessary.  I’ll also assist you with the shipping.  It’s that easy.  MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

Marc Schiliro – The Owner.

Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!

MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent.  I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck.  I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale.  Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed.  This business is my career and reputation which means everything to me.  I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly.  To be clear I’m not in the restoration business.  I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored.

This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA.  I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle.  This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice.  I write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails.  I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it.  I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary.   Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish.  Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air.  A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package.  I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home.

If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world.  I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.  I look forward to working with you.  Please read my website testimonials and eBay positive feedback.  Thank you for the opportunity!
