Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from the beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 25 years of classic vehicle experience and continue to learn more every day. I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current. I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I only collect number one and number two condition vehicles that are already completed. We slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish but don’t do this anymore. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 600 classic vehicles which can be seen on the company website sold page. The vehicles are sold to previous customers, referrals and are sold from advertising on various websites, online auctions and live auctions. We’ve featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. We’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I’m proud to say that MS CLASSIC CARS has accomplished some great things with our vehicles over the years. People recognize value in our vehicles and doing business with us. I consider myself to be an expert in the classic car business and would like to put my experience to work for you.

The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. This location was established in 2012. The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 50 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re the only dealership in the country that services every vehicle we sell and documents it with an invoice. I stand behind every vehicle we sell.  Each vehicle is presented with a detailed description, 150+ high quality photos and a video.  We don’t offer consignments.  When you call you deal directly with me. I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 25 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a very diverse market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world. 

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 20 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand, not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay. 

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time at Viti Mercedes Benz located in Tiverton, RI. They’re recognized for being one of the best Mercedes Benz dealerships in the country for customer service.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also took on a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”. This gorgeous 2016 McLaren 650S Spider is a one owner vehicle with only 7,400 original miles. As the clean Car Fax report indicates this is a one owner vehicle with no accidents or damage reported. The original factory window sticker, owner’s manuals, lithium-Ion battery charger, car cover and all service records are included. First announced in February 2014, the 650S Spider is a convertible version of the 650S. The Spider offers features a three- piece retractable hardtop carbon fiber roof which takes 17 seconds of operation. As the original window sticker indicates the original MSRP was $310,880.00. This vehicle was ordered with a Volcano Red exterior which was an additional $5,690.00. It was also ordered with a Sport exhaust which was an additional $6,650.00 and the Enhanced Technology Pack which was an additional $9,950.00. The Enhanced Technology Pack included a vehicle lifter, car cover, electric steering column, electric and heated memory seats, IRIS satellite navigation and surround system, parking sensors front and rear and rear parking camera. The vehicle was shipped to McLaren Palm Beach located in West Palm Beach, FL. It was purchased by the first owner on March 22, 2017 with 364 miles. The owner lives in both Florida and Massachusetts. It was titled in Massachusetts which is the owner’s primary residence. The vehicle was shipped with an enclosed trailer back and forth between both states but spent more time in Florida. On May 5th, 2017 XPEL Ultimate 3M paint protection film was professionally installed over the entire car which was $6,600.00. Since the entire exterior was covered the protective film when the vehicle was only a few months old the original factory paint is in excellent condition. The exterior was recently detailed to a brilliant shine. The exterior styling consists of a one piece carbon fiber Monocell chassis with rear extruded aluminum sub frame, fully enclosed under panel incorporating front splitter and rear diffuser, single-hinge mounted dihedral doors, full LED headlamps and front and rear LED running lights. It’s outfitted with carbon fiber mirror casings, front splitter, side panels and rear bumper. The vehicle sits on lightweight forged sport wheels that are 19” on the front and 20” on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with new Pirelli Pzero Corsa tires that were installed on December 15th, 2021 which was $2,249.00. The front tires are 235-35-19 and the rear tires are 305-30-20. The Carbon Black full leather interior with carbon fiber upgrades is sporty yet comfortable. Some interior features include a portrait screen infotainment system including navigation, Bluetooth and SIRIUS with Meridian sound, HVAC controls separated on the doors with dual zone, active dynamic control panel and branded floor mat set. The rack and pinion power electro-hydraulic variable rate steering is precise. The front storage compartment is surprising spacious for miscellaneous items. The engine compartment is nicely detailed throughout. The car is powered by a rear, mid mounted Twin Turbo DOHC M838T 90 V8 3.8L all aluminum engine with dry sump lubrication. The engine is factory rated with 641HP and 500 lb. ft. of torque. The engine sounds amazing through the sport tuned exhaust system. The power is transmitted to the wheels through a seven speed dual-clutch seamless-shift gearbox (SSG) provided by Graziano Transmission. Three powertrain and transmission modes are available including normal, sport and track. Other vehicle dynamics include open differential with brake steer, ABS, traction control, ESC and launch control. The undercarriage is nicely detailed throughout. The McLaren suspension consists of proactive chassis control and double-wishbone independent setup. The McLaren airbrake system consists of two piece discs with aluminum hubs, carbon ceramic rotors, black calipers and electronic park brake assist. The 650S has a claimed top speed of 207 MPH and can accelerate from 0-62 MPH in 3.0 seconds. This is a great opportunity to purchase a true super car in every sense of the word.

Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!
