You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - Certified by Jerry MacNeish
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS. You might recognize my name or my business name from the beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally. I’ve got over 25 years of classic vehicle experience and continue to learn more every day. I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current. I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I only collect number one and number two condition vehicles that are already completed. We slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish but don’t do this anymore. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 700 classic vehicles which can be seen on the company website sold page. The vehicles are sold to previous customers, referrals and are sold from advertising on various websites, online auctions and live auctions. We’ve featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. We’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I’m proud to say that MS CLASSIC CARS has accomplished some great things with our vehicles over the years. People recognize value in our vehicles and doing business with us. I consider myself to be an expert in the classic car business and would like to put my experience to work for you.
The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. This location was established in 2012. The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public. A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday. The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 50 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail. We’re the only dealership in the country that services every vehicle we sell and documents it with an invoice. I stand behind every vehicle we sell. Each vehicle is presented with a detailed description, 150+ high quality photos and a video. We don’t offer consignments. When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail. I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or enclosed shipping. I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable. I take a lot of pride in this business and our reputation reflects that. I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer. MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 – Certified by Jerry MacNeish
“This first generation Camaro Z28 checks all the boxes for the true collector” – Marc Schiliro
This stunning 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 has been completely restored to show quality standards and is fully documented with its original GM Protecto Plate. It retains its original color combination, original matching numbers engine, original matching numbers transmission and original matching numbers rear end. It was certified as authentic by Camaro expert Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance on October 19th, 2022. The original report and certificate are included. In 1969, only 20,302 Camaro Z28’s were produced and they’re one of the most popular muscle car from the 1960’s which makes them highly collectable. As the NCRS Shipping Data Report that’s included and original (X77) trim tag document this car was built at the Norwood factory on April 3rd, 1969. It was ordered with a Hugger Orange with white stripes exterior and Black Deluxe interior. It was ordered with the following options: (A01)- tinted glass, (D55) –console, (D80)- spoiler equipment, (G80) – positract rear axle with 4.10 gears, (J52) – power disc brakes, (M21) – 4-speed transmission, (U17)- special instrumentation, (U63)- AM radio, (Z28)- special engine and equipment package, (Z87)- deluxe interior and (ZK3)- deluxe seat belts. It was sold new at Model Garage Chevrolet located in Middletown, MD which was dealer code 381 in zone 14. It was purchased by Dwight Moser on April 10th, 1969 as documented on the original GM New Vehicle Warranty Owner Protection Plan booklet and plate that is included. The original salespersons business card is also included. From the information gathered the spent 42 years in Maryland with a total of five owners. The fifth owner had the car restored by Frank Smartnick Restorations in Greensburg, PA in 2003. It was sold to a gentleman in Texas in 2011 who was sixth owner. This gentleman enjoyed the car including attending car shows where it achieved multiple awards. Some of the awards include “2nd Place” – West Houston Musclepalooza 2016, “Top 30” – West Houston Musclepalooza 2018, “2nd Place”- CCC Car Show 2019, “Top 30” and “Best Award” – West Houston Musclepalooza 2019. All of these awards are included. An owner’s manual, two show boards, advertisement piece, original AM radio and original dash speaker are also included. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased this car from the sixth owner in February of 2023. This is the first time it’s been listed for sale.
The exterior of this 69 Camaro Z28 is truly stunning with its gorgeous color combination. From the information gathered the original flat hood was replaced with a cowl hood by the original owner. This was common during the era and restorations today as more were ordered with flat hoods then cowl hoods. The straight body was painted in its original color of Hugger Orange with white stripes. The paint is show quality and was recently detailed brilliant shine
by the team at MS CLASSIC CARS. Jerry MacNeish indicated in his report that the paint had “nice attention to detail”. Many enthusiasts agree that there’s nothing better than a Hugger Orange 69 Camaro Z28! All of the tinted glass was replaced new and the Soft- Ray stamps were added. Everything on the exterior was restored or replaced such as the glass stainless trim, wiper arms and blades, antenna, driver’s side mirror, grille, Wagner headlights, front bumper, front spoiler, lower rocker molding, tail lights, rear bumper with guards and all emblems. The car has a great stance on 15” Rally wheels with trim rings and center caps. The wheels are wrapped with the correct style Goodyear Wide Tread GT E70-15 tires with white raised letters.
The interior of this 69 Camaro Z28 is also truly stunning especially considering it’s mostly original. Yes, it retains most of its original interior! Jerry MacNeish indicated in his report “very good original interior”. The black deluxe interior complements the exterior color perfectly. The deluxe interior was the top of the line interior for a Z28. Some of the deluxe interior upgrades included woodgrain accents, door panels with bright accents and comfort-weave bucket seats. The upgraded interior not only looks fancier but it provides more comfortability. Everything in this interior shows extremely well such as the headliner, sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, gauges, steering column, center console with auxiliary gauges, pedals and carpeting. It retains the original production 6000 rpm red line 8000 rpm tachometer. MS CLASSIC CARS added a new reproduction steering wheel, Custom Autosound stereo and dash speaker. It has the correct style rubber floor mats. Everything in the interior is in working order with exception of the clock. The trunk compartment presents very nicely. MS CLASSIC CARS repainted it in the correct style trunk splatter paint. It’s equipped with a matching spare wheel, matching tire and jack tools.
The engine compartment is highly detailed throughout with many correct parts. The hidden VIN stamp in cowl area is original and authentic as indicated by Jerry MacNeish in his report. The firewall, inner fenders and radiator support were painted in the correct satin black. MS CLASSIC CARS refreshed the engine compartment. The original Muncie speedometer hole is stamped out below the wiper motor on the firewall. The car is powered by its original matching numbers DZ302 V8. This high performance engine was rated from the factory with 290HP but had much more than advertised. This engine has been completely rebuilt and runs excellent. The engine casting number is #618 with a casting date of #B89 and #V0325DZ assembly date. The VIN number is stamped in the rough casting by the oil filter. MS CLASSIC CARS installed the original cylinder heads with #186 casting dated B129 and C199. MS CLASSIC CARS also installed the original Holley #4053 carburetor dated 934. It still retains the original 3/8” fuel line and 302 engine frame mounts. The original alternator #1100837 is dated 9C24. The engine is cooled by the original Harrison CB coded radiator with tank code dated C of 1969. It also has the original fan blade stamped B69. The original brake booster #9204 is dated 45th day of 1969. MS CLASSIC CARS painted the brake master cylinder the correct color of black. Everything in the engine compartment has been restored or replaced such as the hinges, wiring, wiper motor, hoses, clamps, pulleys and belts. MS CLASSIC CARS added a new battery that has a Autolite battery topper. The engine breathes through the original factory style manifolds and new stainless chambered exhaust system that was added by MS CLASSIC CARS. The tail pipe adaptor plate is on rear left side frame rail with factory spot welds. The engine is coupled to the original matching numbers Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The transmission was rebuilt and shifts smoothly through all the gears. The transmission casting number is #660 and #P9C05B assembly date. The VIN number is stamped on the transmission. The power is transferred to the original matching numbers 12-bolt rear axle with positract and 4.10 gears which was rebuilt and works excellent. The casting number is #860NF with date C49 and #BV0401G2 assembly date.
The undercarriage is very clean throughout with many correct parts. As Jerry MacNeish stated in his report, “very good original floors which have never been restored with undercoating”. From the information gathered the floors were undercoated when the car was new to prevent rust. MS CLASSIC CARS refreshed the undercarriage. Everything underneath the car has been restored or replaced such as the steering system, suspension components and braking system. This car drives down the road very nicely and handles well.
“Original drivetrain Z28’s are hard to find in today’s market place as many of these cars were blown up from abuse on the street and race track when they were new.” – Jerry Macneish
**PLEASE CALL MS CLASSIC CARS OWNER MARC SCHILIRO FOR A VERY ACCURATE VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS VEHICLE**
***MS CLASSIC CARS only purchases number one and number two condition classic vehicles. We service and detail every vehicle unlike most classic vehicles that are currently being advertised for sale. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of $18,913.61 servicing and detailing this vehicle. This is documented with an invoice pictured below. We’re the only classic car dealership in the country that does this. Please understand every vehicle needs something. Some vehicles just need a lot more than others. At MS CLASSIC CARS we eliminate the surprises. We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. ***
Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale. This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different. The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages. Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration. An example would be a classic vehicle that's being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc. Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale. A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!
MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent. I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck. I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale. Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed. This business is my career and reputation which means everything to me. I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly. To be clear I’m not in the restoration business. I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored.
This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA. I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle. This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice. I write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails. I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it. I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary. Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish. Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air. A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package. I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home.
If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world. I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value. I look forward to working with you. Please read my website testimonials and eBay positive feedback. Thank you for the opportunity!
