Marc Shiliro's Classic Cars
You're looking at another beautiful classic car listed by MS CLASSIC CARS!
1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Custom - Supercharged LSA V8 w/ 925HP
Hello, I’m Marc Schiliro the owner of MS CLASSIC CARS.  You might recognize my name or my business name from the beautiful classic cars, trucks and motorcycles I’ve collected and sold nationally.  I’ve got over 25 years of classic vehicle experience and continue to learn more every day. I’ve learned a lot and I’m educated in many different makes and models ranging from the early 1900’s to current. I specialize in beautiful classic vehicles that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I only collect number one and number two condition vehicles that are already completed. We slightly redesign them, service them and detail them. I have also coordinated restorations from start to finish but don’t do this anymore. Over the years I’ve collected and sold over 700 classic vehicles which can be seen on the company website sold page. The vehicles are sold to previous customers, referrals and are sold from advertising on various websites, online auctions and live auctions. We’ve featured many classic vehicles at different auctions across the United States. We’ve had many vehicles that have been featured in multiple magazines and multiple websites. I’m proud to say that MS CLASSIC CARS has accomplished some great things with our vehicles over the years. People recognize value in our vehicles and doing business with us. I consider myself to be an expert in the classic car business and would like to put my experience to work for you.

The MS CLASSIC CARS showroom is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. This location was established in 2012. The MS CLASSIC CARS service department and multiple storage facilities are also located in Seekonk, Massachusetts.  The MS CLASSIC CARS operations are closed to the public.  A private viewing of a vehicle can be made scheduled by appointment Monday through Friday.  The MS CLASSIC CARS inventory consists of roughly 50 classic cars and trucks that we own, service and detail.  We’re the only dealership in the country that services every vehicle we sell and documents it with an invoice. I stand behind every vehicle we sell.  Each vehicle is presented with a detailed description, 150+ high quality photos and a video.  We don’t offer consignments.  When you call you deal directly with me. I know each vehicle well and will go over the vehicle of your interest in full detail.  I’ll also assist you with any other needs such as trades, financing, insurance or enclosed shipping.  I promise to make the process from start to finish easy and enjoyable.  I take a lot of pride in this business and our reputation reflects that.  I appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.  “MS CLASSIC CARS isn’t just another dealer.  MS CLASSIC CARS is a brand.”

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The owner

I've been collecting classic cars and trucks for over 25 years now and have seen a lot happen. I've seen the hobby continue to grow not only on the internet and auctions but also with the amount of television shows, magazines and websites that are related to classic cars in some form or another. I strongly believe the classic car market is a great place to invest in. When the economy is strong, the classic car market is extremely strong. When the economy isn't so strong the classic car market holds its own. I've sold classic cars and trucks in both economic conditions. The reason classic cars make such a great investment is because people are crazy about cars, especially classic cars.  These people aren’t just one age group but all different ages ranging from very young to very old.  It’s a very diverse market.  I've learned it's not just people in the United States but its people all over the world.

Over the years I've noticed that the higher quality classic cars have always commanded a higher price. Even people who don't have any classic car experience can recognize and appreciate attention to detail. Over the last 20 years the overall market has been very strong and I believe it will continue to grow.  Certain classic cars prices are on the rise and others are on the decline.  It’s all about supply and demand, not about a good or bad economy.  The classic cars that are on the rise are the cars that a lot of people want but there aren’t many on the market for sale.  The classic cars that are on the decline are the cars that a lot of people don’t want anymore and there’s many on the market for sale. Of course, if the car is a rare model and spectacular it will command a higher price as I mentioned. Desirable factory correct classic cars that are documented with matching numbers always make solid investments.  Custom cars have remained strong because each car is different from the next one. They each have their own character and there worth what people are willing to pay.

Prior to this business I was just a blue collar guy who was working full time at Viti Mercedes Benz located in Tiverton, RI. They’re recognized for being one of the best Mercedes Benz dealerships in the country for customer service.  I was very passionate about classic cars and trucks so I decided to sell them part time.  Although I had my used car dealer’s license I didn’t have my own dealership.  Overall things were going just fine but my dream was to open my own classic car and truck dealership.  I decided to give up my full time job with health insurance and a 401K to open a new classic and truck dealership.  I had to invest a ton of money to make that happen which required using my family’s savings and acquiring loans such as a home equity line of credit.  I also took on a lot of overhead that I didn’t have before.  The bottom line is I went all in.  Do you think I would’ve done all that if I didn’t think the classic car and truck market wasn’t going to remain strong?  “I’m putting my money where my mouth is”. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Marc Schiliro – The Owner

WARNING: THIS TRUCK IS NOT FOR THE WEAK AT HEART.

Known as, “Cooked”, this fearsome 1965 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Custom is an over-the-top build and bad to the bone! It was designed by car designer Tristan Pengelly of Renderings by Tristan located in Canada. It was built by Chris Cerce and his team at Chris Cerce Customs located in Taunton, MA. It was featured in the first issue of Truck Hub magazine in the Summer 2020 which is included. As the VIN number indicates this truck was built at the Atlanta factory as a 1965 Chevrolet ½ Ton Longbed 2WD Pickup. It was discovered by classic car collector and enthusiast Dave Delancey of Middleboro, MA. Having worked with Chris on a number of prior builds, Dave wanted to create the most awesome 65 C10 on planet earth. Dave understood it was going to take multiple years and an open checkbook. The build started in September of 2018 and was completed in December of 2019. Since completion it’s logged 496 miles and this is the first it’s been listed for sale. It’s powered by a Don Hardy LSA V8 with a Whipple Supercharger with 925HP and a TCI Automotive GM 4L80E Street Fighter automatic transmission. The Roadster Shop Chassis provides full chassis performance for the ultimate driving experience. This is one of the best vehicles ever offered from MS CLASSIC CARS collection.

The exterior of this C10 is so beautiful it’s hard to put into words. The stylish and sporty design is truly timeless especially when it’s been slightly customized like this example. The cab was removed from the original chassis and media blasted. The body was sprayed with epoxy primer before the custom metal work was started. The body received new floors, lower A-pillars, cab corners, door bottoms and a fender. The body was laser leveled and all the panels were precisely gapped to one another. To be clear, the body lines and gaps are at a much higher level than the factory ever produced. The bed was widened to match the bodyline of the cab which looks amazing. It was finished in Porsche Carmine Red from Axalta with five coats of Spies Hecker high solids clear coat. The paint work is exceptional throughout and was recently detailed to a show quality shine by MS CLASSIC CARS. The front windshield including the rubber seal was replaced new. The rear window was also replaced new and flush mounted. The two vent windows with chrome trim were replaced new and the door glass was left original. All the glass is slightly tinted throughout. Everything on the exterior was replaced or restored such as the cab chrome trim, wiper arms, front grille with black Chevrolet letters, parking light bezels, parking light lenses and bodyside moldings. The front chrome bumper was narrowed and tucked. The rear chrome bumper was narrowed, flipped upside down and tucked. It’s equipped with H4 LED headlights. The rear bed pockets were filled and rear bed tubs were fabricated to accommodate larger wheels. The entire rear bed was finished in matte Red for a slightly different appearance then the exterior color. The rear bed authentic Zebra wood was imported from Africa and painted with eleven coats of clear for a super glossy finish. The rear bed was decorated with chrome bed rails, polished bolts and tow hooks in all four corners. A fuel filler was fabricated and concealed in the far driver’s side corner of the rear bed. The truck has a killer stance on custom 20” Forgeline “Grudge” 3-piece wheels that have a polished outer lip and Bronze Metallic power coated inner lip and center with polished edges. The wheels are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that are 285-30-20 on the front and 345-30-20 on the rear.

The custom interior of this C10 is also so beautiful it’s hard to describe in words. Ben Hermance of Hermance Designs located in Worchester, MA designed the complete interior. It was then brought to life by JK Automotive located in Stoneham, MA. This is a one-of-a-kind interior that’s the perfect blend of the original design and modern upgrades. During the build process the floor was extended 4” and the cab was widened 3” behind the seat to allow for more interior space. The floors were covered with a special paint material for sound deadening. Items like the headliner, dash and mini-console were all fabricated. The metal smoothed and painted in a light brown base with a matte clear. A new wiring kit from Ron Francis was installed. The sun visors, panel under dash, kick panels, door panels, center console, bench seat and rear panels were upholstered with Hydes tan imported leather. This leather looks rich and is soft to the touch. The sun visors have custom chrome clips to hold them in place when not in use. The factory dash was outfitted with Classic Instruments black gauges which include rpm, speedometer, temperature, voltage, oil, fuel, boost and transmission. The dash is also home to the headlights knob, wipers knob, ignition, cigarette lighter, Vintage Air conditioning control panel and Retrosound system. It also has a functioning glove box with the word Chevrolet on the black trim piece. The lower dash panel has custom buttons that operate the high beam lights and electric emergency brake. It’s equipped with a Flaming River tilt column and custom designed CON2R 2-spoke steering wheel with chrome horn button. The door panels are pieces are art work with magnetic hidden fasteners, arm rests, door handles, power window controls and vintage speaker covers. The Glide Engineering bench seat frame, fold down arm rest and seat belts provides comfortability along with safety. The center console was designed with cup holders, wireless cell phone charging station and USB ports. The custom Lokar black pedals and German square weave carpeting with custom built in floor mats add the final touch of class. A set of map pockets are hidden behind the folding bench seat.

The engine compartment is highly detailed with many custom features and parts. The vision of the engine compartment was to make it look clean and simple with minimal exposed wires. The backside of the hood was finished in satin black and is held with hood pumps. The firewall was custom fabricated to accommodate the custom power plant. The firewall was smoothed for a clean appearance. The inner fenders were custom fabricated to accommodate larger wheels and the bead-rolled pattern matches the rear tubs in the bed. The radiator support was also custom fabricated. Upon completion the entire engine bay was painted body color which surrounds the centerpiece. The heart of this C10 is a Supercharged LSA V8 engine that was built by Don Hardy Race Engines located in Floydada, TX. The engine was dyno tested and produced 926HP at 6,800 RPM and 835 lb-ft of torque at 5,100 RPM. The engine specifications sheet and dyno sheet are included. The engine is a Chevrolet Performance LSA cast-aluminum block with six-bolt main, 4340 forged steel crank, 4340 H-beam rods, Diamond forged pistons and Dart LS3 PRO1 280cc aluminum heads with 68cc chambers. The engine was outfitted with a 2.9L Whipple twin-screw Supercharger, Holley Dominator EFI system 85-pound FAST Precision Flow injectors, Nick Williams Performance 102mm throttle body and LS7 coils. The engine was dressed with fabricated valve covers that were scripted with the word Chevrolet and a Billet Specialties LSA Tru-Trac serpentine system. The engine was tuned by Auto Trend EFI in Los Angeles, CA. The engine is cooled by a custom fabricated radiator with side overflow tanks and dual SPAL electric fans. The entire engine, valve covers, Supercharger, fuel rails, AC compressor, alternator, pulleys and radiator was finished in Cerakote Cobalt which looks amazing. The engine breathes through custom fabricated 321 polished stainless long-tube headers and a 3” exhaust system with x-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. The Roadster Shop Chassis cross-members and chassis bracing allows for a 3” exhaust. The craftsmanship of the exhaust system is a sculptured piece of artwork that sounds awesome. The engine is coupled to a new TCI Automotive GM 4L80E automatic transmission that is rated to handle 1000HP. It’s also equipped with a Circle D Pro-Series billet converter and 3” billet driveshaft. The power is transferred to the pavement through the new Ford 9” POSI rear end that was finished Cerakote Cobalt to follow the theme. The rear end was outfitted with an Eaton Detroit Truetrac differential, Strange Engineering Pro-Series nodular iron third member, 31-spline axles and 3.55 gears.

The undercarriage is also highly detailed with many custom features and parts. The underside was finished in satin black for a smooth and clean appearance. The body sits on a new Roadster Shop Spec Series Chassis number #003344 which was also painted satin black. The Roadster Shop Chassis paperwork and serial tag is included. The Roadster Shop Chassis is known for their exclusive “Laser Rails” that are precision CNC laser cut and contoured. A stainless fuel tank from Rick’s Hot Rod Shop is mounted to the rear of the RS Chassis and has dual Aeromotive 340 Stealth fuel pumps. The power rack and pinion steering, front sway bar, tubular control upper control arms, boxed lower control arms, Wilwood Pro Spindles, four-link rear suspension and Strange adjustable coilover shocks provide razor-sharp handling.. The Kugel Komponents 90-degree under dash dual mater cylinder pushed fluid through the stainless steel lines to the Baer 14” drilled and vented two piece rotors with matching 6-piston black calipers mounted at each corner. It’s equipped with a power operated emergency brake system. The engine, transmission, rear end and suspension were finished in Cerakote Cobalt. It’s equipped with a Optima Red Top battery which is mounted underneath on the passenger side.

**PLEASE CALL MS CLASSIC CARS OWNER MARC SCHILIRO FOR A VERY ACCURATE VERBAL DESCRIPTION OF THIS VEHICLE**

***MS CLASSIC CARS only purchases number one and number two condition classic vehicles. We service and detail every vehicle unlike most classic vehicles that are currently being advertised for sale. In this case, this C10 was recently serviced by Chris Cerce Customs who built the truck. Please understand every vehicle needs something. Some vehicles just need a lot more than others. At MS CLASSIC CARS we take eliminate the surprises. We’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. ***

Unfortunately most classic vehicles that are being advertised for sale by dealers, private parties and auctions aren't exactly what are being advertised for sale.  This is an industry with no real guidelines and everyone's opinion is completely different.  The average consumer doesn’t realize classic vehicles weren’t restored at the factory and are being restored by people in their garages.  Everyone’s level of restoration experience is different and it shows in the restoration.  An example would be a classic vehicle that's  being advertised as an original model with matching numbers could be a phony with a reproduction trim tag and re stamped numbers on the engine block, etc.  Another example would be a classic vehicle is being advertised as a full restoration when indeed only a few things have been restored.  There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the body, paint, glass, lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components.  The consumers are spending thousands of dollars repairing the classic vehicles they've purchased after the sale.  A bad purchase could turn into the buyer’s worst nightmare and be extremely costly!

MS CLASSIC CARS specializes in beautiful classic cars and trucks that are at a higher level of quality than most being advertised for sale. I personally have selected these vehicles and take pride in what I represent.  I'm not a classic car dealer who is only looking to make a quick buck.  I’ve seen dealers and private parties purchase classic vehicles at auctions and online and immediately list them for sale.  Most of these vehicles aren’t being advertised correctly and haven’t been serviced or detailed.  This business is my career and reputation which means everything to me.  I do the best of my ability to represent quality classic cars and advertise them honestly.  To be clear I’m not in the restoration business.  I represent classic vehicles that have already been restored.

This vehicle is owned by MS CLASSIC CARS and is located in Seekonk, MA.  I personally have seen, touched and driven this vehicle.  This vehicle has been through a service and detail process which is documented with an MS CLASSIC CARS invoice.  I write the descriptions, take the photos, advertise them for sale and answer all the calls and emails.  I'll personally go over the entire vehicle and tell you everything I know about it.  I'll also give you my opinion if it’s truly the right vehicle for you. I’ll consider all trades and also offer financing if necessary.   Once you've committed to purchase a classic vehicle from MS CLASSIC CARS, I’ll make it a very easy process from start to finish.  Once the funds have cleared I'll immediately mail the paperwork USPS 2-day air.  A CD with the description and photos of the vehicle you purchased will be included in the package.  I’ll also assist in shipping your vehicle to its new home.

If you've read the introduction tab or visited my website you’ll probably agree I'm a bit of a perfectionist and represent very detailed classic vehicles. MS CLASSIC CARS has a great reputation and we continue to raise the bar in the classic car and truck world.  I sell our classic cars and trucks very quickly because consumers see the value.  I look forward to working with you.  Please read my website testimonials and eBay positive feedback.  Thank you for the opportunity!
