***MS CLASSIC CARS PURCHASES BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC VEHICLES THAT WEVE COMPLETELY SERVICED AND DETAILED UNLIKE MOST CLASSIC VEHICLES THAT ARE CURRENTLY BEING ADVERTISED FOR SALE. WE DOCUMENT THIS WITH AN INVOICE.  THIS TRUCK WAS JUST COMPLETED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND HAS LESS THEN 100 MILES SO WE DIDNT SERVICE IT YET.  IT WILL BE COMPLETELY SERVICED PRIOR TO THE NEW BUYER TAKING DELIVERY.  WELL LET THE PHOTOS DO THE REST OF THE TALKING***

STORY:
THIS TRUCK WAS PURCHASED AND COMPLETELY RESTORED BY A GENTLEMAN WHO LIVES IN CHARLOTTE, MICHIGAN.  HE OWNS A ROOFING COMPANY AND SPENDS HIS FREE TIME BUILDING CLASSIC TRUCKS.  HE HAS MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND HAS HELP FROM PROFESSIONALS WITH CERTAIN THINGS SUCH AS BODY, PAINT AND WIRING.  THIS BUILD WAS TRULY A LABOR LOVE.  HE PURCHASED THIS TRUCK AND HAD A VISION FOR DESIGNING A REALLY SLICK RIDE.  HE WANTED TO BUILD A TRUCK THAT WOULDNT LOOK LIKE SIMILAR TO ANOTHER ONE.  HE ALSO WANTED TO BUILD A TRUCK WITH A MODERN DRIVE TRAIN.  HE STARTED THE RESTORATION IN SEPTEMBER OF 2015 AND COMPLETED IT IN SEPTEMBER OF 2016. THIS WAS AN EXTENSIVE FRAME OFF NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION.  HE INVESTED THOUSANDS OF HOURS AND DOLLARS.  IF YOU WERE TO HAVE THIS TRUCK BUILT THE PRICE WOULD FAR EXCEED WHAT IM ASKING WITH PARTS AND LABOR.  THE TRUCK HAS LESS THEN 100 TEST MILES SINCE COMPLETION.  NOW THAT THE BUILD WAS COMPLETED IT WAS TIME FOR HIM TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ONE.  I JUMPED ON THE OPPORTUNITY.  READ THE DESCRIPTION AND CHECK OUT ALL THE PHOTOS AND YOULL SEE WHY I HAD TO HAVE IT!

INSPECTION REPORT:
 THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.  THIS TRUCK HAS A GREAT LOOK THAT PEOPLE REALLY TAKE A LIKING TO INSTANTLY.  THIS IS A CLASSIC 1950 CHEVROLET 3100 PICKUP CUSTOM LS THAT HAS A ONE-OF-A-KIND PAINT SCHEME.

THE GENTLEMAN WHO DID THE RESTORATION DISASSEMBLED THE ENTIRE TRUCK.  ALL OF THE PARTS THAT WERE RESTORED WERE DIPPED IN A SOLUTION THAT TAKES THEM TO BARE STEEL AND PAINTED.  THE EXTERIOR BODY WAS SENT TO A BODY SHOP FOR THE BODYWORK AND PAINTWORK.  THE ENTIRE BED WAS REPLACED BRAND NEW INCLUDING THE FENDERS, BED SIDES, TAILGATE AND OAK.  THE RUNNING BOARDS AND THE FRONT GRILL WERE ALSO REPLACED BRAND NEW.  ALL OF THE BODY OF THIS TRUCK IS METAL.  THE EXTERIOR BODY OF THIS TRUCK IS NICE BUT I WOULDNT SAY IT WAS DONE TO A HIGH QUALITY.  WHAT I MEAN IS DURING THE BODYWORK PERIOD THEYVE COULDVE SPENT MORE TIME LINING UP THE PANELS AND SMOOTHING OUT THE EDGES, ETC.  TO MOST PEOPLE THE BODY IS BEAUTIFUL ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE WORK THAT HAS BEEN DONE.  I THOUGHT IT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO PURCHASE AND HAVE NO REGRETS.  THE TRUCK WASNT BUILT TO BE A HIGH END SHOW TRUCK.  IT WAS BUILT TO BE A GREAT LOOKING TRUCK THAT SOMEONE WANTS TO ENJOY.  IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS PLEASE CALL ME TO DISCUSS IN MORE DETAIL.  THE TRUCK WAS PRIMED, PAINTED AND CLEARED WITH SLICKENS BRAND PRODUCTS.  THE PAINT ON THIS TRUCK IS REALLY NICE AND ATTRACTIVE.  THE GM SILVER METALLIC COLOR REALLY POPS AND SHINES.  WHAT REALLY MAKES THIS A ONE-OF-A-KIND COLOR SCHEME IS ALL OF THE TRIM WAS PAINTED SATIN BLACK ALSO WITH SLICKENS BRAND PRODUCTS.  LISTED BELOW ARE THE EXTERIOR CUSTOM FEATURES.  THIS IS ONE SWEET LOOKING CLASSIC CHEVY!

  • THE BED WAS FINISHED INSIDE WITH POLISHED BOLTS, STRIPS AND GAS FILLER.  THE OAK WAS STAINED OYNX BLACK WHICH COMPLIMENTS THE COLOR SCHEME.
  • THE TRUCK SITS ON CPP RIDLER 18 X 9 WHEELS THAT ALSO COMPLIMENT THE COLOR SCHEME AS WELL.  THE CENTERS ARE SATIN BLACK AND THE LIP IS BRUSHED.  ALL FOUR TIRES ARE GOODYEAR EAGLE F1S 235-40-18.

 
THE INTERIOR CAB WAS GUTTED AND TAKEN TO BARE METAL.  THE ENTIRE CAB HAD A SOUND DEADENER APPLIED WHICH IS SIMILAR TO DYNAMAT.  THIS HELPS KEEP THE CABIN COOL AND LIMITS THE ROAD NOISE AS WELL.  IT WAS PAINTED SILVER AND A FACTORY HEADLINER WAS INSTALLED ALONG WITH BLACK DOOR PANELS AND CARPETING.  THE INTERIOR OF THIS TRUCK IS IN BEAUTIFUL CONDITION AND ITS VERY COMFORTABLE.  A LOT OF THE INTERIOR HARDWARE WAS REPLACED WITH NEW PARTS SUCH AS THE REAR VIEW MIRROR, DASH TRIM, DOOR HANDLES, WINDOW HANDLES, PEDALS, ETC.   LISTED BELOW ARE SOME OF THE INTERIOR CUSTOM FEATURES.  PICTURE YOURSELF SITTING INSIDE THIS TRUCK AND CRUISING THE OPEN ROADS.

  • 2011 CHEVROLET PICKUP BUCKET SEATS THAT WERE REUPHOLSTERED WITH BLACK LEATHER.  THERES ALSO A CENTER CONSOLE WITH CUP HOLDERS AND STORAGE THAT CAN FLIP UP TO A THIRD SEAT SPOT.

THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS VERY NEAT AND ORGANIZED THROUGHOUT.  THE FIREWALL, INNER FENDERS AND RADIATOR SUPPORT WERE PAINTED TO MATCH THE EXTERIOR.  THE ENGINE IN THIS TRUCK IS A MODIFIED GM LS 5.3L V8.  THIS ENGINE WAS TAKEN FROM A 2006 CHEVROLET PICKUP THAT ONLY HAD 80,000 MILES.  THIS TRUCK WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF SO THE ENGINE WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.  THIS ENGINE STARTS AND RUNS EXCELLENT LIKE YOUD EXPECT WITH A NEWER VEHICLE.  IT ALSO SOUNDS REALLY AGGRESSIVE OUT THE CUSTOM EXHAUST SYSTEM.  INSTALLING A MODERN ENGINE IN A CLASSIC TRUCK TAKES SOME MEDICATIONS WHICH CAN BE VERY TIME CONSUMING.  THIS ENGINE WAS COMPLETELY SERVICED AND DETAILED.  LISTED BELOW ARE SOME OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT FEATURES.

THE ENGINE IS COUPLED TO THE MATCHING 4L60E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT CAME OUT OF THE SAME CHEVROLET PICKUP TRUCK.  THIS TRANSMISSION IS EASY TO OPERATE AND THE OVERDRIVE PROVIDES GREAT HIGHWAY DRIVING.

THE POWER IS TRANSFERRED THROUGH A CUSTOM MADE DRIVESHAFT AND GM 10-BOLT REAR END THAT CAME OUT A 1978 CAMARO.  THE REAR END WAS SERVICED INCLUDING NEW AXLE BEARINGS, SEALS AND FLUID.  A CUSTOM DIFFERENTIAL COVER WAS ALSO ADDED.

THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS VERY DETAILED AND LOADED WITH TONS OF FEATURES.  THE ORIGINAL CHASSIS WAS SANDBLASTED, EPOXY PRIMED AND PAINTED WITH PPG GLOSS BLACK.  THE UNDERCARRIAGE IS NICE ENOUGH TO PUT MIRRORS UNDERNEATH AT A CAR SHOW.  SOME OF THE UNDERCARRIAGE FEATURES ARE LISTED BELOW.

THE ENGINE IS COOLED BY AN ALUMINUM RADIATOR.  ITS COUPLED TO A 4L60E AND THE POWER IS TRANSFERRED TO THE PAVEMENT THROUGH A GM 10-BOLT REAR END.
